Best place for observing night sky. Went there with my friend and he was really afraid because it was total dark and no one was around, LOL. But I was excited to capture the night sky. Even if the observatory was closed, going there was worth it.
Loved the sky. Observatory itself is temporarily closed, but there's a small grassy area where you can setup your equipment. Surprisingly dark sky here
Great dark skies, be careful with torches or you may interrupt the astronomers

Lovely vistas and stone formations
Fun place to hang out. The society members are very knowledgeable and do a great job giving tours of the sky.
Great experience once you find your way there through pitch black bush.
