We have had a beautiful 3 years here. Amazing guides and friendships to set up her early learning years. It has honestly been such a special place and couldn't recommend it highly enough. I feel very blessed she was able to get a place when she was so little, and has moved through the program and learnt amazing foundations and lessons that she will carry through life. Her love of picking flowers for our table and "making peace" during arguments will be enduring I am sure! With 4 other kids, I been with family day care and other good centres in the past - but this one is the best by far!

Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone for the wonderful care Tom received during his time at Avenues Montessori. From the offer of coffee and kind words on his first day (for me!), to the love and support from Jen and Mariam in his first classroom and later Amy, Margarita and Anna who have all guided him along his educational journey to become the inquisitive, confident and kind little boy he is today. We are looking forward to the new adventures, but will always remember fondly the community we have developed with you all.
We are very grateful for the three years our daughter has undertaken at Avenues Montessori at Bowen Hills. The kindness, support, care and guidance we have received has been greatly appreciated. Exceptional educators and management and always willing to go the extra mile to help and involve families into their community. We are very proud to be associated with the school and the testament of their success, is the strong foundation they have provided to assist our daughter into prep. She has become a strong, confident, mature and independent young lady, who displays kindness and practices Montessori principles everyday. Avenues Montessori (Bowen Hills) is simply exceptional. The facilitators and carers are kind, professional, and genuine. The daily updates provided (app) are always detailed, and the photos are fantastic. Likewise, the updates provided by the administration are always timely and accurate. Nothing is ever too much hassle; all employees go above and beyond. Having been at a few of these around Australia, we could not recommend Avenues Montessori (Bowen Hills) high enough! Thank you Jo, and all the staff (particularly Steph, Anah, & Jenny) - you are amazing at what you do and we will forever be grateful for the guidance, care, and development you have provided to our child.
Transitioning our children to going to school was made easy and the growth and development of our children from this school, has far superseded our expectations. I wouldn't send my children anywhere else now that I know how exceptional this facility is.
We looked at many daycares but couldn't go past Avenues Montessori. The staff are wonderful with our children and the skills they have learnt are a fantastic foundation for life. The Montessori approach at Avenues has built resiliency, distress tolerance and emotion regualtion skills, and care and kindness for others and the greater community into our children. Pre-COVID, I particularly enjoyed the parent workshops that allowed us to meet other parents in the community and to learn montessori principles to apply at home. Jo (the director) and the educators have been very caring and supportive of us as parents and our children as we navigated the emotions associated with starting daycare and continued to provide wonderful support throughout our time with the centre. I highly recommend this service.
First class in every respect. From the moment we enrolled our son, we were delighted and impressed with the professionalism, the diligence, the care, and the warmth of everyone we encountered at Avenues. Communication from the centre educators, the staff, through to the director of the centre has been open and consistent. The level of care they provide and the attention and dedication they put into the community they are building at Bowen Hills is exemplary. Our son is a part of that community and loves seeing his friends there. We are very confident sending our little boy into their expert care each day, and thank them for their tireless effort.
We moved our son to Avenues Montessori after he had been in a traditional daycare for about a year. The Montessori method has been so beneficial to him and we have been excited to watch him further grow and develop. Joanne, the director, is so passionate and dedicated to Avenues and we love that about her. Our son loves his Guides and so do we. They are also super dedicated, and have called us even after hours to discuss any concerns that we have. When having these conversations I can tell that his Guides really know and understand him well...they have even given us ideas on things we can do around the home to further his development! I'm so pleased we made the move to Avenues.
