Russia is a marvelous country, so much to see and so little time...!! The grandiosity and opulence of the Imperial Era is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed every minute of our tour in Russia... People were for the most part friendly, both cities were incredibly clean and neat... Food was great most of the time and the service was outstanding... The Sapsan train experience was great, good food and service... Both of our guides, Elena in St. Petersburg and Max in Moscow, were very knowledgeable and professional. Now, I am assuming that the nature of the Russian people is not to be very warm, but for us, as people from Latin America, they both seemed cold and distant. However, I want to also emphasize that we have absolutely no complaints concerning the quality of their service, as I am guessing it is a matter of idiosyncrasy. The immigration officers at both airports, St. Petersburg and Moscow, were very unfriendly. I know this is a subject out of the control of any travel agency, but the Russian government should improve this initial and last impressions to visitors. Overall, we had a wonderful experience in our tour in Russia, and actually, I would really like to come back and see more of Russia in the future...Thank you so much to 56th Parallel --and especially to Anna-- for all your support and kindness...

Thanks to Anna and 56th Parallel for a most enjoyable trip to Murmansk. My niece and I saw the Northern Lights! We also found the trip to Teriberka fascinating. Such starkly beautiful scenery on the shores of the Barents Sea! And delicious seafood! The reindeer sled and dog sled were also enjoyable. The visit to the Lenin, the nuclear powered submarine that is now a museum, was a memorable trip backwards in time to the days of the Soviet Union and the Cold War. The hotel was perfectly situated and had comfortable rooms, very good service, and an excellent breakfast. The local guides were a pleasure to work with. Professional, friendly, eager to help. All in all, a great trip. .

It was my dream to see Lake Baikal and the nature around it. From my experience, it was amazing and adventurous. Everything was excellent, from the hotels to Russian people. The group was small, which was very good, made up of only 4 people. Thank you 56th Parallel for organising the trip.

Articulate project space

We have had a wonderful time and are so grateful for the assistance from you guys with planning our trip. Everything was fabulous and went smoothly. It was comforting to see signs with ours names or your company when we arrived at our destinations to transport us to our accommodation. The ger camp was pretty special and we so enjoyed our guide Chuck who treated us more like family than just another couple of tourists. Lake Baikal was also a special place to go to and we found the accommodation there very quirky and entertaining. Train seats also good.
