great team at the centre... i was a bit spoilt with 2 instructors on my shore dive experience! :).... although had to be on best behaviour buoyancy-wise lol. Onshore winds precluded diving at some spots but settling on Bare Island for 2x1 hour explore sessions was perfect. It also meant that my bucket-list hunt for Weedy Seadragons could hopefully be fulfilled.......and.......BINGO! THREE SEPARATE SIGHTINGS!.. One of them a fully pregnant male ...yay! Great viz on the second ocean-side dive.... good fun team...highly recommend. Laurent Dahan is god-like with his DIR buoyancy hovering skills... very informative dive... lots of care taken to guide and inform .

Went on 2 shore dives with Laurent. He is an exceptional instructor and going out on dives with him is FUN! I've already booked another couple dives for this weekend at Dive Center Bondi that I am really looking forward to. Cannot say enough how awesome this place is for SCUBA diving. I signed up to dive during the week just on my own and there were 2 other divers that did the same thing, so our group was a total of 4 with Laurent and I felt comfortable and at ease right from the beginning. Whether you've done 0 or 100 dives, are diving with a friend, or on your own, it's a great place to learn, refresh skills, and just get more dive experiences in general. Dive Center Bondi is a knowledgable, cool, and fun group--I definitely recommend checking them out.
I Did my Padi open water course with Dive Cente Bondi. In those 3 days they made me fall in love with diving! I can't wait to go for another dive. Instructor Pia did such a good job and it was also great to have dive master Lou around. Thanks guys, keep up the good work!
Did my refresher course with Laurent. Had a great time and learnt heaps from Laurent. He was patient, gave each of us helpful feedback and made sure we understood important dive concepts. Great instructor and very knowledgeable! Looking forward to more dives with DCB!
Just finished my Open Water, woohoo! My instructor Scott was absolutely ace. Clearly explained not just how and what, but the real world why and when you’d need the skills. He spent quality time with every student. He made sure I was completely comfortable in the water and never rushed. Yes, we got to see some cool fish, octopus and rays, but most importantly I feel confident that I could now go and successfully do a dive. Fantastic experience all round. Thanks Scott and co.
Hi There! Omg what an experience! I can't believe I'm only getting my license now! Whilst I'm still on a high from my experience, I just wanted to thank you ao much for such an incredible and life changing experience. Pia was our instructor and she just made me fall in love with diving. I was quite scared about diving but Pia just made me feel so safe and made the dive so enjoyable and fun. Thanks so much Pia and Dive Bondi. Sign me up for the next one please!!
I did my Advanced Open Water and Mixed Gas course with Laurent Dahan from Bondi Dive Centre and had the best experience! Incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and pragmatic which combined for a great weekend of diving. He was able to simplify some of the more complex theory based sections so they made sense, and more importantly were easy to remember. 10/10 for me, I'll be back to DCB & Laurent for any further courses I do.
I had a fantastic experience doing my Rescue Diver course with instructor Laurent. He offered a wealth of knowledge throughout the course and simplified each skill by breaking them down into their individual components. Many laughs were had over the two days too. Highly recommend!
