Ordered a grilled flat head and ships plus 6 fried calamari rings, the fish was frozen thawed and had no flavour whatsoever. Chips were average and calamari were actually very nice, plump juicy full of flavour and not chewy at all which were the best thing aboutvthe meal.
Really busy on the day we were there... chips were not the best... seafood was good however.
Will never get tired of this place, always get something that tastes amazing and I always enjoy it at a quiet waterfront spot nearby. Perfect! Today was the first time I tried one of the in house made sauces and they are worth the extra dollar for sure! Would love to see Smiths Seafoods make some big containers and sell the sauce by the litre!
Not sure why this place has such great reviews. The guys are obviously working very hard and the shop is very busy, but the food is quite oily and definitely nothing special. The portion sizes are huge tho, so if you're after a lot of food I guess this is a good choice.
