Very nice and tasty food. Tried many restaurants on Gold Coast this one by far is best. Had butter, Tikka & mango chicken . All excellent.

We hadnt been to the Curry Express for some time as the quality of the food had dropped over recent times. However, we recently tried their food again and they must have a new chef as the food is so much better. The only downside was that it was a busy night and it took some time to get my order supplied.
Ordered takeaway this evening. Only people to be in the restaurant while being served. 2.50 bag of Papadums were stale and inedible. Ordered the Large Butter chicken and rice and a large mango chicken with rice. The curry had a nice flavour and there was a decent amount of meat, however the sauce was so runny the flavour was watered down.
Best curry I've found on the Gold Coast so far. Full of flavour, meats incredibly tender...just sensational. The naan is great too. Be aware, hot means HOT

The curries are pretty good most of the time, but seems like the girl at the counter just expects me to order more and more, and when i don't she just seems annoyed and a little rude? Also, i've noticed that sometimes tables are not cleared and i've had to sit with dirty plates pushed to the side..
Had worst experience at this shop. lady pushed us to afford so many extra things, while we already told her we are still thinking Also we ordered tandoori chicken and that was raw in middle. We talk lady about that and she just said ‘leave that one and eat the rest’ omg that was so rude and we gonna never ever comeback again
