Sponsors Facebook Welcome to the Berwick Tennis Club The Berwick Tennis Club is located right in the heart of Olde Berwick, on top of the hill on the Arch Brown Reserve off Buchanan Road and is one of the largest tennis clubs in the City of Casey. The club offers organised competition and social tennis for all ages and playing abilities, day and night play and quality coaching. You can hire a tennis court for a casual game or you may prefer to become a member of the Berwick Tennis Club and enjoy the added benefits that club membership offers.   Latest News Update on tennis activities at Berwick Following the Victorian Government announcements this morning, 11 May, Tennis Victoria is currently in communication with Government about what this means for tennis. Tennis Victoria are proposing to publish new recommendations on their website tomorrow, 12 May 2020. If Tennis Victoria recommend that tennis activities can be restarted in some form, the Berwick Tennis Club will also be required to wait for the City of Casey to review the recommendations and advise us of next steps, including what protocols will need to be put in place at the club to ensure the safety of all players. Our facilities will not be able to be reopened for any tennis activities until we have received communications from council that it is ok to do so. We are all very much looking forward to getting back to playing tennis and hopefully we will be able to in the near future. Given the extended period of time that club members haven’t been able to use the tennis facilities at Berwick, the committee agreed at the last committee meeting that all current financial members will receive a 6 month extension on their current membership through to 31 December 2020. Full details will be emailed to all financial members over the next week.   Newsletter The Berwick Tennis Club newsletter for December 2019 is now available here. A huge thank you to Caitlyn Lewis for the significant time and effort she has put in to develop this newsletter. Sponsorship Packages  Sponsorship packages are now available. A great place for tennis lessons. My kids recently started doing comps as well and the exposure that they get and the training is amazing. The coach very closely watches the kids and teaches technicality which is very important for Tennis I reckon.
