Love this store. Always a great option to ponder gift ideas and something special for yourself. The owner is lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. I’ve bought countless items from gloves, booties, to tableware and soap.
They still sell golliwog dolls & their slogan is "The White Shop at the Top" as you can see on the business card. My suggestion is to just get with the times... Stop living in your stubborn childhood denial and remove the doll's as I saw countless families comment on them and quickly leave.. It's a bad look for the town.
What a fabulous store! Plenty of gift ideas for all occasions, particularly a special birthday. Great Christmas decorations. Best part the owner, what treasure! So welcoming and friendly.

We had a great time shopping at the brown shutter, so sad to read reviews of other customers.....I think a few first world problems there!! We bought a gorgeous wicker cat tee pee for our 8 week old pug puppy ( hoping he doesn't develop a species identity crisis) and a serving tray decorated with the classic three see no evil, hear and speak no evil monkeys....ooooops , me thinks me may have opened up a can of political correctness there!! Its just a lovely store with lovely service nice staff, AND a free cake of hand made soap!! Cant wait to go back !!
