Highlight was definitely the AMAZINGLY delicious nestum prawns! Great because I don't have to peel the shell. So crispy too!! The salted yolk chicken was really tasty too. Never had anything like it! The curry laksa was not bad, I heard some people liken it to laksa king. On top of that, JHR kitchen has wonderful resources to keep the kids busy! Jolene was occupied for a good 45 mins or so, allowing the adults to eat in peace!! Thanks JHR kitchen, we will definitely be back!

Best restaurant on centre road. Highly recommend the combination laksa and sizzling noodle. So good!! Better than laksa king. The Teh tarik is also delicious. They even have free snacks!

Decent Malaysian food . This is the same as laksa house in the CBD. Only difference (and sadly) is that they do not have the roast chicken and , barbacue pork rice. Fair enough as the overhead of work required In this area may not justify the effort..on the bright side, they have their claypot noodles and it's as good as the ones in the city!! Very good!!! Finally, a decent place for Malaysian food in this area (yes there are a few but they do t really cut it)
Always good to have more Malaysian restaurants in Bentleigh! Conveniently located and great for take aways. Also, the price is so reasonable compared to other Malaysian places. Laksa and satay is a favourite. Anyone looking for Asian food should come here!
A bit disappointing. My garlic/ginger chicken was bland and cool. The menu is more Chinese than Malaysian. It's a good place for people with young kids. July 2019 - according to the menu window there seem to be quite a few Malaysian dishes now so I'll have to try again with my Malaysian friend. Thanks HJR for reading my previous review and taking action. I will be back. End 2019 I did go back and it was much better.

Delicious, gourmet & authentic Malaysian food. I haven't had anything like this in Melbourne for a long time. The salted egg yolk pork chop was awesome!! Great local find!
