Previously Victorian Book Wholesalers went into liquidation in 2014. These 2 just started up again under another name. They have no conscience or ethics...stay away!!!
AVOID AVOID AVOID. David and Claudine are very unethical. They will lie to you at all costs. They have owed me a large some of money for over 2 years now and they refuse to pay.
Very disappointed to have to post this. I’ve had an order outstanding since Feb/March this year. After a couple of months of chasing the order it was partially fulfilled. The remainder of the order is still outstanding. Multiple calls and emails and If I’m lucky enough to get someone on the other side, no one can give me an answer as to where the order is or when I will receive it, yet payment has been taken in full. Hopefully I can get a response through google reviews as I can’t get anything by contacting the company
Great selection of coffee table books and service is incredible. I needed books for styling properties and I was sent photos and they went above and beyond to make sure that they were all ok. Very impressed.
Caution. Believe the negative reviews here. I didn't and regret it deeply. Dishonest owners who promise the world and deliver little. Not worth the hassle, shop elsewhere.
From reading the other reviews here, it seems I'm not the only author who has been left unpaid by Claudine Zuker and her company Beaglier Books. If you've had a similar experience, please contact me so we can band together and make a criminal complaint against them. The initial chat I've had with police about this is that they'd be very interested in pursuing them if enough of us can come forward with our story. This is outrageous and I can only think how much money they've made off the back of hard working (struggling) writers. If you're reading this Claudine, I hope you understand the financial hardship your fraudulent and greedy dealings have caused my children and I. I noticed you deregistered your company last month, and yet you keep updating your social media and website like you're still trading - because we know you are! This won't be the end of it. The law is coming for you.
