I moved into the Retirement Village at the end of February this year. It has been a wonderful experience for me! There is a real community here, each caring for the other. I am so happy that I took the advice and moved here. Everyone is very friendly, and staff are only too eager to help in any way. The Home Care Packages are managed extremely well, and I would recommend this Retirement Village to anybody. I am looking forward to the restrictions being lifted so that I can join in with the excellent day trips that are organised through community care.

We have lived in an Independent Living Unit for 8 years now and are very happy here. We enjoy the company of good neighbours and are always treated with respect and a caring attitude by staff. All in all a good place to spend the golden years of our life.

After working at Tabulam and Templer Homes for the Aged for a number of years, then later providing craft activities to residents in the Dementia wing, the staff are amazing in the care and support they provide. For family members who may be looking for a home away from home for their loved one, Tabulam and Templer Homes for the Aged is the perfect facility.

TTH is a great place for the elderly to retire and spend the rest of their life. Staff is very helpful and supportive with every aspect in the daily life of the TTH residents. A great place to be.

All aged care facilities are called 'homes' but very few actually feels like one. While some things cannot be helped due to communal living, what makes a facility a home is the quality of the people inside and their willingness to go that extra mile in caring for others. This accounts for more than the swimming pool, chrome and glass in the residents opinion. As an aged care professional for the past twenty years, I have seen my fair share of facilities country wide and three of that 20 years I have spent working at TTHA. In my time I have witnessed (and was part of) many great initiatives and have lived and laughed with our residents everyday in their home life. I wasn't the only one. At TTHA every branch of staffing is engaged and wanting to be where they are. And that is actually a big thing in residential care . Unhappy people who are only doing a job cannot dispense joy. All the things that we did to improve the lives of TTHA residents, I took with me when I left and teach it to others through conferences and training modules. I have never stopped having a special care for TTHA and great respect for the people there continue making a difference in someone's life every day. Tibor Paller Tibor's Kitchen
