Brand New Backyard and an Awesome and Remarkable Job!!!! I found the details of Competitive Paving and Landscaping from a Google search and gave them a call. My phone call was promptly returned by Grant who attended the site and I was very impressed from the start with Grant’s knowledge, professionalism and commitment to do the job, so I hired Grant and it was the best decision I ever made!!!! Considering I got over 10 quotes. Grant and his work mate Scott were very friendly, reliable, polite, courteous, hardworking, punctual and helpful. Grant takes pride in his work and this is evident in the finished final result and quality of his work. Grant was always prompt in returning my calls and responding to my text messages and keeping me updated with recommendations and suggestions for which I am extremely grateful. Grant always went the extra mile to ensure he provided the highest quality of work, attention to detail and took real pride in his workmanship not only with providing a brand new “Fantastic looking backyard”, they also put back my heavy garden statues, chairs, repaired and concreted my gate and fixed my back door at no extra charge. We are delighted with the fantastic job that CPL did on the paving around our kidney shaped pool. The job is perfect and done with a high degree of precision. The pricing was competitive. We didn't know what would be the best material and approach to the job. I think CPL gave excellent advice on what to use and how to lay it so it would look the best. This type of advice and work only comes from the years of experience that CPL has. 5 stars, absolutely no hesitation in recommending CPL based on the work done for us.
We needed to pave along the southern side of our 102 year old house because of moisture issues underneath the house. We also had more pipes sticking up along that side of the house than the grand pipe organ in Sydney Town Hall. Not a huge area, but it was too hard for some of the people who took a look. Grant reckons that he likes challenges and so he worked a plan that included covering the ugly pipes, taking care of the drainage, building a step and small garden and paving the area with vintage bricks. He and Scott worked like navvies and left the place in immaculate condition. It's now not only perfectly functional area but we now have a quaint sitting area in what had been a rather ugly corner we used to hurry through. We would throroughy recommend Grant. Thanks to people who posted beforehand. Your reviews really helped in chosing the right people.
CPL did our backyard landscape last year, including paving, artificial and real turf, which was very good, especially the paving section was excellent compared to my previous experiences with other trades people. So this year I asked him back to do another job on the driveway and this one is equally fantastic. Thanks

Great Job from Grant at Competitive Paving and landscaping. While it took a few weeks for him to get the quote completed, once it was done I was ready to press the go button straight away. The retaining wall was done at my investment property so I wasn't there to see, but Grant kept me updated with progress reports and photos as the work progressed. He even found some other issues with stormwater pipes under the surface which he also fixed for me. All on time and within the quote. Many thanks for a job well done
