Can't believe they closed the kitchen on race weekend at 820pm on a Saturday night, the busiest time of the year. Bad planning and/or management. Complacent and unprofessional attitude. Fortunately there were plenty of other venues in Bathurst to choose from which didn't have the same problem.
Had lunch there today. About my 3rd visit. Food yummy mash potato was the best I've ever had. Reception staff and bistro staff extremely friendly and professional.
Terrible today. One staff member taking bar orders and food orders and not fair for that staff member and huge wait. 3 of our 4 meals came out and told other meal would be 10 minutes and still waiting. Not enough staff has let the place down tonight. Which is a shame as food is good

Great Surf & Turf with choose of Rump steak OR Chicken breast with King Prawns and creamy garlic sauce. If you like tomatoes in your salad you need to add them to your order as they are not included in salad.
The bistro is well stocked with food and beverage s at great prices and the staff are friendly and helpful and are clean and tidy,
Good specials for members with tasty dishes. Plenty of screens and tables.
