This place is incredible but no matter what you do, ALWAYS buy the animal feed. At first I thought birdland would be a pricey trap for an unwitting tourist. Little did I know this vast expanse of wildlife has so so much to offer absolutely anybody. Absolutely crammed full of open gardens and native birds, the animal park features plenty of opportunities to see rare beauties thriving. Staffed by wonderful and caring people who are ever happy to share stories about the creatures within, the park is a must see for any animal lover!!

A well laid out park, with animals that needed human help as well as wildlife that look happy. My favourite was the wombat.

Pleasantly surprised with this place. Don’t know what other reviews were on about did they expect Jurassic park style enclosures? It’s a locally run wildlife park with friendly staff. The paths were easy enough to go around even with a cheapo 20 stroller. Easily can spend a couple of hours there.

This whole place is very run down. The animal enclosures need a lot of maintenance. Animals look unhappy. not.much grass in enclosures. No maps are provided so you wander aimlessly through the park. The paths are uneven and tree stumps popping up all over the place making it very hard to push the pram. A lot of the paths are covered in overgrown bushes. There is a miniature train ride which is advertised on the website and on the front fence however after we paid for our tickets we were told it no longer works. VERY DISAPPOINTING. The enclosures lack information on the animals inside. Dont waste your money, this place is not worth it.

Run down and not well maintained. The paths are not paved and not clearly marked. No maps make it harder to navigate. The animal areas are not clean. I was not comfortable moving around with bushes everywhere. The mini train was jot working and was left to rot. Left disappointed with kid. The positives are some good set of birds and animals. They have a good mini train which could be an adventure for kids. I'm hoping that once restrictions are lifted more and the tourism picks up, it will get better.

Had a lot of fun. Nice range of animals, reptiles and birds. Animal shows where one can interact with a few of the animals (reptiles and a baby wombat). Lots of peacocks around the park. BBQ areas, small rideable train to view the park at 5 per ticket (separate from entry price) & wheelchair access. Can also purchase a small bag of pallets & seeds to feed the animals, careful with the ostriches as they will take the whole bag (happened today). Will be coming back in future.

Run down and not maintained at all. Taking a pram inside was such a bad idea. The paths are all bumpy and not maintained at all. Enjoyed watching the animals. We were in time for wombat show. This was a joke. The lady just carried the wombat around to everyone and said hello.
