On Wednesday, 26 February I applied for a new passport through Australia Post. This cost 298, required two passport photographs and a one-page application. The new passport was delivered to me by Wednesday, 4 March. That’s a one-week turn around! I’m impressed.

Paid for priority service still haven't received passport and it's been two and a half weeks. When I called asking if a refund was possible because it has taken so long they dismissed me completely. I understand shipping is a factor but what is the point in paying especially in an emergency when it is the same wait time?

Realised my passport had expired the day before I was supposed to fly out and was lucky enough to get an appointment that day. I was not expecting them however to have my renewed passport finalized that day. Incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people working there and a massive thank you to Amanda for the help.
