Very poor customer service and very unprofessional. My car was damaged I went into a pothole took photo's as asked. Then to have my claim denied saying because the pothole wasn't previously reported they weren't aware of it so therefore so pretty much from my understanding it's not there issue

Never answer my calls after being on hold for unlimited amount of time and never get back to me when I leave a message. What are they doing? Playing monopoly? Is this what I pay tax for?
change the date of bin pickup from Tuesday to Monday with just a sticker and a couple of words. lots of house missed their bin day. call the Council on Monday for pickup. was told wi be picked up within 3 days. call on Thursday and was advised that bin will be pickup by 5pm on the date. call Friday and was told that bins will be pickup on Saturday. Saturday morning bins still lying on the street. council closed and no one to call. Is this the new way of how council deals with the residents. Increase rate and reduce service.
Disgusting service, customer service can be very rude and lazy at times. Currently in the process of renovating, Town Planner said they didn''t have time to discuss my situation. They advised me to seek the service of a private certifier for a general question relating to car spaces in your home. Why do we pay thousands of dollars per year, when a Town Planner has not got 5 minutes to discuss a general question. Absolutely disappointing and a true reflection of Canterbury Council. WORST COUNCIL in NSW.
Patricia from customer service needs a 6 star rating. She is truly a standout and a big asset to Bankstown council. I can’t thank her enough for her assistance.
1) Disorganised 2) Dishonest 3) Corrupt. I raised concerns about obvious corruption about this council in 2011-2012. I had evidence of major misuse of power at the time- needless to say, I have recently seen that the ex GM, several councillors and the ex Director of planning have been found corrupt through ICAC. Even trying to get simple things done, like calling the council is a x2 hour effort as they either a) do not have the answer you need or b) do not answer their phones.
Terrible roads in this council area, particularly some sections of Canterbury Road where one of my car rims was destroyed while driving at 55 km/h. I don’t live in the area but I do drive through it and stop regularly at many of the great restaurants in the area, interesting shops, nice parks and good priced fuel, but it just looks like the council is pretty slack about road safety.
Terrible customer service and nothing gets fixed. Broken street lights, rubbish etc.
