Took my family there for Easter Sunday, 14 of us to be precise. We ordered quite a bit off the menu, seafood platters, steak, schnitzel, cutlets etc and everything was served within 20 minutes. Cooked to perfection, sizeable meals, absolutely delicious. Cajun Calamari was definitely the favourite. 8 Espresso Martinis pleased the Mother and Sister inlaw. Craig the Chef was so accommodating and can definitely cook beautiful food. Staff were friendly and helpful Definitely returning for our next family lunch.

It's you standard local. Pretty cosy Aussie atmosphere. Nice for a quiet drink during the week. Bar staff are friendly and happy. Great beer garden.
Really great service and friendly staff. Special mention to Jordan and Tash for their hospitality and helpful nature. Delicious meals and nice venue, close to the water and things to do. Nice clean rooms, would definetely reccommend.
Another cracking stay at the Aussie. The staff are amazing, rooms are clean, foods on point and great value I had the steak my partner had the schnitty! We always stay at the Aussie on our way up north and always a great experience!!!! Keep up the good work guys!
My partner and I went for dinner tonight. The meal was delicious and the service was excellent. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The sticky date desert was so good. Two thumbs up to the Chef and bartender (Shultz)
Great bistro with a good range of meals. 12 lunch specials are very good value and tasty to boot. Service was good and quick. Recommend the whiting, chips and salad. Bar service is also available. Decor is clean and modern. Conveniently located in the main street in Ballina
Good service. Food has been great when we have eaten there. They often have live music in the beer garden. New owners have really spruced it up and it gets a good crowd now. We enjoy it!
Stayed here for one night. Great location... amazing location. But we have young kids and the windows had such terrible curtains, they may as well have been sheer. And there was a spotlight pointed into our room window from the roof!!!! Mould on roof, and a bit smelly. If it had blackout curtains, would have given a 5 star rating. Good for what you pay. Cheap accom, so can't complain.
