Free showers available here really nice staff it's more of a homelessness assistance and consulting for social services place part of uniting church.. I travel alone with my dog but l can imagine couples may experience problems on the road or anywhere this place is a resource to rethink and be safe. .. pretty sure there are cloths shoes food packages if you need essentials due to circumstances.. You can also donate stuff and money this institution has helped many a weary traveller and people down on their luck 5 stars great essential service..

When down on your luck, they're there for you. That is the important bit. Everything else is a bonus.

I will make sure I never need your help again. After asking for help and wanting to pay the money back Michael rudely said to me "We cant keep bailing you out every time your in trouble". I had not been there for over 10 years not for food or anything not even Salvos. I think I had been really good not needing help. But when we needed help because of financial stress well thats when their true colours come out. I have always stated I will pay them back for their help. Don't need to be rude or smart when people are down. Why dont you live in my shoes and see how you would feel getting remarks like yours from people that are meant to be there to help. What a joke

There are various parts (and many staff) of Uniting Care and my review only reflects a specific area. Unfortunately budget cuts and bureaucracy have hindered adequate service provision to clients and improper training of (some) staff. This could be potentially harmful to some people seeking assistance for health related reasons.
