Snuck into the Sporting Globe today passing through Ballarat not realising it wasn’t open yet, amazingly in times of all too common poor customer service they invited me to stay and have a beer on the outstanding period balcony upstairs in the sunshine while I waited for the kitchen and venue to open. I wandered down like a VIP the only patron in the venue to order food and was once again greeted by incredibly friendly staff. I returned upstairs to wait for my food to come and when it arrived it exceeded all expectations, sports bar food taken to the next level. Delicious and good sized portions with a delicate and perfectly balanced combination of flavours. This place is highly recommended with fantastic staff.

Long story short: 5 star, enjoy your meal. That’s it, goodbye. All right, here’s some details: I test restaurants with the pork-factor; if a chef can cook any recipe with pork to perfection, it means they can do any recipe to perfection. If you’re into the culinary arts you know how different cooking pork is to any other meat. I ordered Baby Back Pork Ribs: -cooked to perfection -absolutely no foul or off smell -amazingly fresh and juicy -better than the pork ribs I tried in a 5-star Sydney restaurant -the sauce: 5-star I ate every bit of it and even when I was full, still it tasted delicious. (Pork factor: 5-star) Negative points: Chips too oily Packaging: the sauce was scattered all over etc etc Overall: SOLID ️️️️️
We have dined here many times and the service has always been fantastic and the food delicious. We had the 25 wings multiple times and they have always been tasty. Our daughter is always well taken care of by the staff and we are always welcomed. The staff are awesome and the quality of service is top notch. Would recommend eating here :)
Came in here because it was close. Surpassed all expectations. We could order from the app and the delicious food and cocktail came directly to our table. Really fun and will visit again.
Love coming here. Food is amazing, has a wide range fromt the menu. Lots of drinks to choose from as well. The service here was warm and friendly and so r the people here. On really busy nights the service isn't as quick as it would be during lunch but overall happy with everything.
Lovely event space on the top floor. The most attentive bar tender I've ever dealt with. He remembered our drinks and made sure they were topped up right through the evening. Excellent night!

Good value for money and decent food. Plenty of choices and good vibe for a sports bar. Floors could do with some deep cleaning though!!!
