Reception was rude and they won't accept any patients at this clinic that don't have private health cover..

I called to make a appointment. They're just interested in persons with insurance. I told the reception that's not fair. Who gives the right to say how much money l have or don't have. Poor set of rules l say.

After seeing dr Richard Pendleton in the pain clinic a rwbh. He was arrogant rude and once he had me in the 2 week instay refused the MRI that was needed. It was a bundaburg pain specialist that did the MRI and by then the nerves were too badly damaged to bother operating. He should work in a morgue not health care

Dr Berge was dismissive of my pain, told me it was psychological and that I needed to be more active, that was in February 2020, it is now October and after trying to put up with the pain for a substantial period of time only for it to have gotten significantly worse I have now been diagnosed with multiple labral tears in my hip. He said "if he thought an injection would fix the pain that he would give me one as that is how he makes his money", tried to put me on anti-depressants and a PEA supplement which I stopped taking and were clearly not going to fix what I now know my underlying problem was

Went in for persistent gut pain. Appointment was meant to be 45 mins. Barely made it to 30 mins before it ended. When I explained my symptoms I was asked if I had tried meditation and going on a diet. Also, that the the pain medication I was taking was bad me for. Funny, that was the whole reason I was there. I still have no idea what a pain specialist does due to Dr Pendleton not explaining anything he did, but it cost 320 for 30mins of wasted time. Was told I needed to come to terms that I would be in pain forever. To date, this is the most disappointing, over priced “Doctor” I’ve ever been to. Some people should stick to being lecturers. Must have been a golfing day.

Reception was very helpful and Dr Burge was also very professional and helpful. While it is disappointing that my problem can't be fixed immediately, my impatience is my problem. Very knowledgeable and professional.
