As a primary teacher and community educator in grief and loss, with 20 years in Funeral Care, I can't speak highly enough of Paradise Kids. I have completed their grief and loss buddy training course, which will enable me to be a buddy to the children who attend their 7 week program. The program is tailored to children dealing with major life changes and helps them manage overwhelming emotions and grow into confident and resilient individuals. Furthermore, parents/carers of the children are also guided in ways to support their children in this process, as well as recognising their own needs at such a difficult time. I have known many children throughout my teaching career who have already benefitted from this guidance and I will not hesitate to recommend it to other families in the future.

Paradise Kids is a wonderful place to volunteer. It's facilities are great, and the groups and it's mentors have been some of the finest people to work with. Their groups help children from ages 2-5, and 6-11 years old. Some groups impact on helping children and parents in need is hugely positive. They come here in need of support through difficult times such as divorce, domestic violence and sometimes worse. So this is a great organisation and I couldn't be prouder to be a part of this organisation.

The way i have been treated, as a parent of children attending your programme amounts to nothing more than absolute & utter contempt. You have insulted my inteligence & emotions in a profound & significant manner. The whole experience has left me upset & excluded & marginalised.I am the parent who has put in the effort 2 make sure my children attend counselling yet i feel totally alienated from the programme. It has been of ansolutely no benefit to me in any ability 2 help guide my children through this dofficult time in their lives. The facilitators of your programme really need 2 look @ the way they are making people / parents feel.I appreciate the good intentions of your organization however, the experience for me has been upsetting & i wld not hesitate 2 provide a damning & negatively critical reference to anyone considering enrolling their children in your programme.
