Below are two emails, 1 from me to the company and their response. Maybe I should get in contact with the department of fair trading. To Whom It May Concern, I had bought some salt and pepper shakers from your company. The main reason I purchased these were because they are described to be anti rust, and quote: "Each Salt and pepper shaker is dishwasher safe glass with a rust free stainless steel lid, designed to be resistant to rusting from salt inside the container. There are other shakers on the market which look similar to these which have a chrome plated lid, which is prone to rusting. The ones being sold here are definitely Stainless Steel lids, which help prevent this occurring." Most if not all have rusted over. Please refer to pictures attached below. As we own multiple businesses I would always rather deal with suppliers directly instead of naming and shaming on social media outlets without giving the chance to rectify the mistake made. I would ask not for a refund but a replacement of our purchase order. Please find attached a copy of receipt. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. RESPONSE: Hello Grant, I spoke to the supplier and once I gave them your details they looked it up and have come back saying that you are coastal and that is the main reason for your issue. They recommend that they have to be wiped down everyday before and after being put out for use or stored away. They said that salt in itself is corrosive and therefore need a little more TLC. Worst customer service that l received in a long time!
I used the website to buy some products for my restaurant on my iphone. It worked really well and was delivered 2 days later. Makes it so much easier, I can order at anytime, while on the go in the kitchen.
