Lovely 1.5 ride through beautiful bushland, on glossy well trained horses, matched to riders ability from pure beginner to experienced. Best fun. Definitely on my "do again" list.

Have been riding here for as long as I can remember and it's like a second home. Robyn and Liz are so full of knowledge and love for their horses, there really isn't a better place to learn to ride. All the horses are safe schoolmasters who are very well looked after. Every type of rider is accepted here and Robyn has the skills to improve anyone's riding, from beginner to advanced.

My daughter has been riding at the school and within only 2 years she owns her first horse. Robyn took a day off her busy work schedule to take us and check over the horse. She even floated the horse for us. Three generations of horsewomen, Elizabeth, Robyn and Charli are super. So much experience between them, you can ask them anything to do with horses and they know the answer. They live and breathe horses. Salt of the earth I would use to describe that family. The horses are happy and healthy and they match horse to rider so well. Can't wait for my next birthday prezzie... trail ride through the gorgeous greens bush.

The Teacher is a highly experienced, capable, caring and a perfect horse woman. The environment is delightful and the horses are selected to match the nature of each student.

Robyn taught my daughter everything that is to know about riding, she is now (a couple of years of weekly lessons) confident enough to have her own horse and look after it and ride it responsibly. We often take trail rides too, at Arthurs' Seat Trail Rides which is owned by Robyn and her mother and always felt safe, being matched to the right horse for our level and had the most beautiful experience in the bush.

I went on a trail ride today and unfortunately i need to say I was quite disappointed. I didn't feel welcome, there was no introduction, I didn't even know who the guide was or who I should ask something if I would have a problem. Nobody talked to me or asked if i was OK during the whole ride, which was a bit sad. I am not a beginner so fortunately everything went well. The trail was nice and the horse was good to ride. For a 1.5h ride the price is fair but they should work on their attitude!

Every xmas i ride here. Im 51 & ride regularly on a horse property. I rode a clydie cross who used to one of robyn's school horses. He was superb. Extremely quiet yet responsive. I spent most of the time sitting to his trot & when i asked for the canter he jumped straight nto a smooth canter. He didnt rush or get unbalanced which is normally my fault. Although this ride is ok for beginners i would suggest lessons in an arena is probably the first step before a trail ride. Generally getting a bit of guidance in an arena is a good idea. I always enjoy a chilled out ride with great friendly staff over the xmas break. Overall one of the best run places in victoria and i have ridden at numerous places
