I have been going there for years, service is good and price reasonable. When the brake master cylinder suddenly failed in my car two days before Christmas, they fixed it the next day. Most other mechanics were already closed for the holidays!

They realise that we depend on our cars so the service is efficient and they try and fit you in when you arrive. Easy to contact. Not only are they smart about cars, they are huge competition for the large car yards that try to charge too much. The prices at William and Wood for car repair are reasonable with great service. Had a problem with my Subaru - went to a dealership and was quoted over 1,000 any problems they found. A friend suggested Williams and Wood in Artarmon. Went in and described what the dealership had told me and what they said they would charge. (As I said the charge I realized that was most likely a mistake.). I was told that this would cost between 200 and 300 dependent on what he would find and he would call me with any issues that would cost me more. Final cost was 220 and car was perfect. I have now been using Williams and Wood in Artarmon for a number of years. Its great when you find one of the rare things out there - An honest mechanic who charges a fair price and does great work.
