Michelle is absolutely outstanding. Hands down the best cellar door experience we've had in Victoria. She was attentive, kind, informative and generous with her time. Wines were beautiful and well structured. Enjoy a platter of local produce - such a gorgeous celebration of local suppliers. Thank you again, Michelle. We'll be back! X

What a wonderful experience, the drive up to tasting area was so very pretty. To be greeted by Daisy, the dog was so lovely. The Wines were fantastic and I ended up taking a few bottles home to enjoy with friends. Thanks Adam.

If you are looking for some wineries to visit while in Great Western you MUST visit ATR wines cellar door. We phoned ahead to book in a tasting and we were not dissapponted. Superb service, beautiful wines and luxurious cellar door! Michelle is very hospitable and friendly and spent time explaining all of their delicious offerings. I enjoyed them very much. The location is peaceful overlooking a dam and I could have easily spent a few hours outside just relaxing while eating a delicious little platter. Can't wait to return. Thanks so much for an enjoyable time!

The wine is good and the space is nice, however the older woman who was there should really learn the meaning of hospitality if she's going to work in the industry. I will no longer be buying these wines nor will I be recommending them or the winery experience to my customers or bar industry friends after this experience. I tried my best to notify them of a change in number to our booking but the rudeness I was greeted with when I arrived was uncalled for and disproportionate. I understand that we were asking a lot to change our booking from 4 to 8, however that does not excuse the appalling manner with which we were treated. Instead of explaining to me herself, I could hear every word she screeched at the young female staff member (who was exceptionally lovely and the main reason why I'm not giving 1 star) who had to relay the information to me as to why we could no longer do a tasting. The older woman protested even harder when I tried to offer a solution that I thought would result in us being able to try (and most likely buy) the wines while still meeting COVID guidelines and being gone before the next booking. It honestly felt as if she didn't want the business we would have brought to her. I was so embarrassed that the winery I had spoken highly of would treat customers in such a way. I understand being busy (though I doubt they were as there was only 12 other patrons while we were there) but her attitude and manner of speaking to us (as if we were in her way or taking up space) was uncalled for. If it weren't for the lovely young woman and the fact that some of the wines were quite enjoyable I would be giving the whole experience 1 star and I hope anyone that visits here has an better time than I did.

Adam is so passionate about his wines and it really shows in the glass. His little patch of Australian Bush is well worth a visit, his rustic tasting area in the winery is authentic and immersive. A great addition to the wonderful wine region of Great Western.

Tucked away behind beautiful vines and bushland, ATR is a true delight! Michelle is friendly, down to earth and very knowledgeable. She shares wonderful stories and is very passionate about the wonderful wines on offer. It’s a beautiful setting next to the dam and funky tunes in the background. We happily joined the wine club for exclusive tastings and discount wines and much anticipation for upcoming releases and deliveries. Would recommend calling to make a booking to secure your tasting!

My husband and I visited on an awfully rainy Friday afternoon and boy did it improve our spirits! Michelle at the cellar door was fantastic - she was knowledgeable about the wines, the process and the region.. and she was a fantastic host. In the two days of staying at the Grampians, every person we spoke to, we told them this place was a "must!" bold and beautiful wines!

They have a wonderful shiraz!! Went there for their great pinot gris but it was too popular and hold sold out, but discovered their shiraz. The staff were magnificent, nice off the track location.
