Just down to Altona for a visit and stopped at Altona gate to get a snack. Found this sandwich chefs and gave it a try. Very nice eggs and bacon roll , staff was really helpful, quick and prepared.

Wouldn’t recommend. Staff are incompetent and bread was stale. Asked Su if they could do a turkey, Camembert and cranberry sandwich on multigrain. Su said yes, absolutely. He made the sandwich, and when it got to the cheese he asked which it was again. I replied Camembert, to which he said they don’t have Camembert. I no longer wanted the sandwich, but he pressured me into it as he’d already mostly completed it. I ended up going with Swiss. That’s okay, sandwich still looked fine until I took a bite out of it to find the bread staler than my grandpas sense of humour. Not wasting my time or money there again.

When Michel's pattiserie used to be there I get coffee from that place and buy a sandwich from Sandwich Chefs to have my breakfast when I shop at Altona Gate during the weekend.
