I have had these guys servicing the smoke alarms for my investment properties for awhile now but what I didn't realise is that they can only service and replace batteries but they won't help you out with urgent replacements or repairs. The team went out yesterday to a unit block I have tenants in for a regular service. Today I have had to deal with complaints from two tenants. One was left without a smoke detector and the other had one beeping all day, while she was trying to work from home. When I contacted Aegis Safe and asked them to fix the problem they had caused they said that they couldn't and that I would need to contact someone else. I have had to deal with tenants all day to try and fix their problem. Luckily for me I have a super helpful handyman who was able to assist. I am unsure what a fire safety company are supposed to do if they can't fix smoke detectors?
