This track has definitely got better over the years. Great atmosphere and abundance of people in general all willing to stop and chat about the sport. Club 15 was awesome public add on viewing.
Beautiful part of Melbourne. It's sad that races are postponed til November. Enjoyable walk around the lake.
Fun fun fun !! What a great day for grandprix. Great location, great view, great atmosphere and great fun. Only problem is there is absolutely no parking areas so be there with public transport to avoid ruining your mood looking for parking coz you will not find any. It’s all max 1-2 hours parking bays in the surrounding areas.
Great race track that takes about 6 weeks to set up. Excellent venue for such an event. Huge array of food vans, things to do. More drink variety is needed and longer opening times and more coffee vendors and icecream vendors. Picturesque near the lake amd Melbourne CBD as the backdrop. Enjoyed my day watching the F1, V6, V8 cars race. If visiting definitely bring a hat, sunscreen, sunnies and a big scarf or umbrella for shade. Sitting in the grandstand gets very hot even at 23 degrees it feels like 30 plus
Really nice experience last weekend in Albert Park. The connexions by tram were perfect. We arrived in 10 minutes from CBD to the gate number 5. The organization was amazing, everything clean and easy to access for food, drinks, different curves of the circuit, or toilets... The ticket was no very expensive and before de F1 we could see other races as supercars, super Gt, ... Definitely I recommend to life this live.
So many reasons to love having Albert Park as our 'back yard' - ideal 'learn to drive' spot added to the long list of reasons we ️️️.
I came here for the 2020 F1 season. Unfortunately It was called off but I still got to spend one day walking around. I liked the facilities and thoroughly recommend it.
