My elderly mate in Hyde Park has had nothing but trouble with these guys. They gave him notice to leave yesterday because of the battle he has been having with them to fix his windows and air conditioning. easier for ross real estate to just boot him out at Christmas rather than fix the issues. Cannot get lower than that. Best to go elsewhere. H.Winter, South Townsville

It is standard practice at Ross Real Estate to rip off young Australians. Being a group of first time renters, we took seriously our duty of cleaning when leaving the property. Paid for the bond clean, pest control, the whole works. Later found out we didn't even have to do that legally, only leave the property as we found it (Filthy.) We did not expect at all for a legitimate business to then steal our bond as well . All of us were very busy at the time and did not have the immediate know how to fight them on our bond. We were unaware of the third party bond holder, and thought it was all decided by our real estate agent. Naive first timers we were. Before we knew it, 2 weeks had passed and our bond had been claimed by Ross. Good life lesson for us all I guess. If you have no choice but to rent off these scumbags, make sure you document everything. On another note, if you're a wealthy landlord, these guys are probably exactly what you're looking for.
I met Sonia 8 years ago when I was looking for my first investment property... And Ross Realestate has been managing my tenancies ever since. I met with Sonia again last week for some advice and she and her staff are still as enthusiastic and helpful as ever. Thanks Sonia.
