Bonython Hall is a fantasist addition to North Terrace and the grounds of the University of Adelaide. Often, throughout the year, there are free performances for the public. Alternatively, enjoy the sunshine on the perfectly manicure lawns out front.

Many heritage buildings in South Australia belongs to the University of Adelaide. This great hall facing the North Terrace is the Elder Hall, a beautiful concert hall built for masterpieces. It’s neighbour is the great Bonython Hall, a ceremonial venue used for graduations and public lectures. The University itself is the 3rd oldest in Australia and at one point, was one of my major choices for where I would have ended up studying. Too bad Adelaide felt too slow for me but I do love the campus here. I used to spend time in the Barr Smith Library, just watching other university students go about campus life, counting down towards my turn at university.

Went to a church event here today for the Revival Fellowship. Beautiful hall with great facilities. massive organ at the back and huge vaulted ceilings, great place to visit.

Very grand & impressive building. Floors are quite creaky though.
