I highly recommend Active Computers they recently did a huge job for me converting two iMacs to run on Windows 10, had previously been running a Windows emulator which was very troublesome. Darren who did the job is extremely knowledgeable and patient and explained everything to me that had to be done, he also sorted out a lot of other issues. I am extremely happy with the result.

I found there service to be good and my repairs were done a little quicker then i was told. The price was about the going rate.

Agree with the previous review! Bought a "new" card recently. The antistatic bag had already been opened. Tried it in my computer, doesn't work. A partial refund offered - a "restocking" fee of 10 for checking if it worked. Did it work to begin with? No exchange offered. Item is not fit for the purpose it was intended for, and advised of the purpose at time of purchase. This shop currently doesn't appear up with current consumer law. Ignore the sign in the shop on refunds and exchanges! Be warned!

I'm not very happy, I buy a old PC for 10 and i bring it home and put ram in it. it booted up fine and it hard stuff in hard drive i went in and i found crazy stuff like banking details on to where the person lives, luckily i am picked it up instead of a dodgy person. I am probably going to call the man. : I am Mad

DO NOT USE ACTIVE COMPUTERS! Went in with a portable hard drive with a bent pin and was assured that this would be easy to fix. After weeks of no response I went into the shop and was given a brand new hard drive - and was told I had to purchase the usb cable for it separately. Assuming this was my old hard drive with new casing I was disappointed to find the HD was blank. I had lost hundreds of GBs of personal data, had to beg just to get a refund of what I had paid for this new HD, and wasn't even given an apology. DO NOT USE ACTIVE COMPUTERS! In response to the owner's reply below: definitely you guys. Really disappointing.

Had the guys at Active Computers repair an old XP machine for which others had said was too old and only wanted to sell me a new PC. The old machine is now working fine. Recently asked them about my iMac which kept going slow with the "Spinning Wheel of Death". They diagnosed it as needing a new hard drive. They fitted a new type solid state hard drive with no moving parts, transferred all my data, installed all the programs some of which were quite complex, all in one day. Very happy to report the iMac is now very, very fast and completely silent. Thanks for all your expertise guys.
