Listen, finding the Happy Mexican on a food delivery app almost made the entire 112 days Melbourne spent in lockdown worth it. Discovering its existence is honestly the one shining beacon of 2020. The Burritos are the size of a forearm and the margaritas are perfection. If you're having a bad day, a takeaway meal from this place will turn it around. Although now we know to order with them directly from their website!

Tacos were pretty good, but a little lime to squeeze on the fish tacos would have been perfect. It looks like they have a special deal on Tuesdays for tacos. So come then if you want a deal. Margarita was good also, would have preferred it to be a little bigger though haha. Overall, definitely recommend and I'll be back.
It's quite cheap and they are very generous with the portions. Tacos were very soggy and a bit too sweet. Also, the burrito tasted quite strange.. compared to other burritos I have had elsewhere. Not a bad experience but I just didn't find the Mexican taste I was looking for.
So generous with tacos! So much meat! Taste really special and Im guessing authentic. Service was great and they were really nice. Glad we work down the road now! We'll be regulars!
We were waiting for our meal at least around 40 minutes .. We were starving and getting a little bit impatient. They apologised as the kitchen was so busy preparing meals for take aways as well as dining in. I must say it was worth it. I’ve ordered ox tongue tacos and super delicious. The fish it’s a must to try .. Overall it was a lovely experience.. the staffs were so helpful and looking after the guests very well. Don’t forget to try the tequila.. I’m not a tequila drinker but i ️ it .. Definitely will come back to this place soon
The tacos certainly made us happy. Great authentic menu choices here. We ordered fish, prawn and veggie tacos for delivery and all were fresh, delicious with good quality fish and prawns. All had good portion sizes and the staff followed my small adjustment requests which is always nice as some places just ignore them. The taco dough was well cooked and soft. I would recommend selecting add ons like hot salsa or extra guacamole as they needed a bit rambunctious spice for my tastes. Would return again to try other items on the menu.
This place is awesome, really good value, Authentic full of flavour and generously sized Tacos! The staff were so nice and inviting, they really show genuine appreciation towards the customers enjoying the food, you will not be left sitting at your table without food for long at all, we ordered 12 Tacos and they were brought to the table in about 10 min, and that's on a busy night! The place was full of happy customers. I would definitely recommend The Happy Mexican! I really look forward to my next visit
